Re: Leupold oopsie

Yeah I can say I am very happy with their customer service. I was out at the range making elevation changes and left one of my dial covers laying there and of course when I went back it was gone. I called Leupold fully expecting to have to pay for a new set, and they took my name and address and a ...

Re: Remington replacement part.

Thanks Lee for the reply. I have rang Remington and they will not send anyreplacement parts outside USA. I have made phone calls to the Australian distributor and they are not being any help. What annoys me is that I hear how Remington is replacing the whole stock for its USA customers free of charg...

Remington replacement part.

Hi guys. Over here in Australia, we are not as lucky as you Americans. I have been trying to track down a replacement part for my Mod 710 in .270W I need to replace the Magazine Latch (part no: 300362) and find that nobody here in Australia wants to deal with it. I have spoken to various shops and e...

W748 for 32gn projectiles.

Hi guys. Being fairly new to reloading, I have a question about W748 powder. I am reloading for my RugerKM77Vt, and have heared that W748 is a fairly unstable powder and that pressure will increase greatly with temperature. Where we hunt here in Australia, it can get very hot, and I am concerened ab...

Re: Shooting property in USA

Thanks for the replies. It is too hard to tell how far the road was away, but it was well within shooting distance. Over here in Aus, it is illegal to shoot from any road and you need to have written permision from the land owner to shoot. There may be some exceptions, but I am unaware of any. Can y...

Shooting property in USA

I have been watching some Coyote hunting videos, and I sometimes see cars driving in the background when someones taking a shot!

How do you guys get places to hunt on over there? It almost looks like you just pull off the side of the road and start calling in Coyotes.

Am I missing something?
