Don't know about the 40's but people say the 32's usually record about 100 fps slower than listed. I don't know as I don't have a chrony. Take cracker's advice and use the bullet that shoots the most accurate out of your rifle. Because if it doesn't hit the target, who cares how fast it's going.

Yes, always sight in at the highest power. That way, even if POI isn't the same at different powers then it'll be zeroed at the power you use most anyway.
