Re: HSM brass went to the trash!
I wrote to HSM and this is what I got back: In regards to the email you sent expressing your concerns about reloading brass with the HSM headstamp. At HSM, we use only quality components that will in turn make the end product as accurate, reliable and precise as possible. We have sold millions of ro...

Re: HSM brass went to the trash!
Wow. This is good to know. I bought a bunch of HSM .204 cartridges a couple years ago and shot'em but haven't tried to reload them yet.

Re: Barnes 26gr Varmint Grenade
I don't think mis labeling is a problem. Most here I believe that they keep their powder in the original container and I've never heard of powder being mislabeled from the factory.

Re: Barnes 26gr Varmint Grenade
I just got this back from Barnes Bullets: Thanks for the email. We are in the process of shooting for our new reloading manual and don't quite have the load data for that cartridge. However you can use other published load data from Hodgdon or Hornady and the 32gr bullet for use with the 26gr Varmin...

Barnes 26gr Varmint Grenade
Well it looks like the Barnes 26gr Varmint Grenades are being shipped. I just got notice that my order from Midsouth Shooters Supply was shipped. Unfortunately I won't be able to test them until May.

Re: 700 trigger adjustment
Recently my Rem 700 22-250 action fell off my bench and the trigger broke off. So I took it to my local gunsmith and he happen to have a new Timney trigger. He set it for me and it now breaks at 3 1/2# just right for me. He dabbed a little clear nail polish like stuff on the screw heads to secure th...

Re: barnes varmint grenade in .204!!
I wrote to Branes and asked them about the BC for the 26gr Varmint Grenade and her is what I got back: Hi Bob, I've not seen any testing done in regard to the BC value of that bullet. Because we actually shoot the BC values after the final product is released, I suspect it will still be a few weeks ...
