Multiple reloading dies for sale

I have some die sets for some calibers that I no longer load for. All are high quality in perfect condition. With each die set I am throwing in a Hornady modified case for measuring the chamber on the rifle you are loading for so you can get those bullets seated just right. All die sets are in the o...

Re: iphone ballistics apps

Thanks for all of the replies. I had forgotten about this post from last summer. To update you all I went with ballistic FTE and it is very complete for my shooting needs. I shoot a bit of long range for fun with a 308 and 338 Lapua and the first outing with the 338 this spring yielded great results...

Re: Building a new .204 AR

If you Prairie Dog you have just built your dream rifle. Find a good load and go have some fun. Me and my three sons bring about 8 rifles out west every year to hit the dog towns and several are sweet little Coopers and CZ's and I find myself having the most fun with my factory built Noveske 204 AR....

Re: Weaver Super Slam Scopes for my CZ

I bought two VX2's today, 6-18X40 LRV reticles.

These scopes should work fine.... Oh - i bought two because I just made a deal on a NIB CZ527 Varmint in 17 Remington. So I'll have two CZ twins in a week or so.

Weaver Super Slam Scopes for my CZ

I am looking for a mid range scope to put on my 527 varmint 204. All y other 204's have Leupold's and Zeiss and I really don't want to drop a grand n glass right now. I found this on Natchez $1100+ msrp for $409. It is the only one in that magnification that is discounted so much. http://www.natchez...

Re: 204 Ruger Loads in the AR

Nosler brass is the best. I have been slowly changing everything to Nosler, Lapua and some Norma. Of course still use Remington and Winchester but prefer Nosler over all others.

Re: 204 Maximum Effective Range

With a stout load pushing the 39gr Sierra I have experienced consistent performance at 550 to 600 yards. I believe that bullet to be stable at that distance. Energy is doubtful even for prairie dogs, I would recommend shooting them in the head for a sure kill. A 39-gr SBK has @1000 fps has about 90...

Re: At Rest

Rick, do you use a Dog-Gone-Good rear bag, or something else? I use a Protektor No. 13B rear bag for all my bench shooting. http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g66/packrat1/Rifles%20Load%20Dev%202010/DSC_0008.jpg Sportsman's Warehouse, Wholesale Sports and Sinclairs along with many of the mail-order ...

Re: Pretty funny!

I spend a lot (too danged much  ) time over on missouriwhitetails.com, and I've proselytized quite a bit over there. To date, a lot of folks over there have been buying and trying new .204s, callaojoe, Big Bullseye, and a couple others are now posters here, too. With more new buyers ev...
