Re: AR BOLT CARRIER EXPLOSION
Ouch. Can you take a wider angle shot so we can see more? Never had any kind of failure in my AR, but was reading last week about staking the screws holding the gas key on the carrier so they can't back out. They're also supposed to be torqued to exactly 59 inch pounds. I can imagine how if they co...

Re: New to .204
I talked to Dan Carey, and he said they make their rifles in 1:10 twist to stabilize 40gr bullets. He said they were having some trouble with the 1:12. They don't stock the 1:12, they only use them if requested by the customer.

Re: Reloading for the AR-15
It's not the grain of charge I'm so interested in, as the powder itself. I just wanted to know if certain powders cycled an AR better than others? Even if they are recommended for the .204, would they still not be a good choice for an AR?

Reloading for the AR-15
Is there anything special you have to do when reloading for the AR?
I know about FL resizing, and C.O.A.L.,
what about powders? Are there certain powders that perform better in a Semi-Auto?

Re: Tell us about yourself...
My name is John, and I live in CO. I've always been into hunting and guns. I got into the .204 scene because my dad and uncle have become serious PDog shooters, and I thought I'd get in on the act. So I had a .204 upper built for my AR-15. I work as a FORD Technician and Ski and Snowboard when not s...

Re: Carey Custom rifle
I just got banned from the Predator Masters forum for my first post  I posted my new Carey Custom in their AR section, and lo and behold, there is some serious feud between Dan Carey and some of the mods on PM's Forum. They won't even let you spell out Dan Carey.....it comes out as Dan [beeep] ...
