Good to see the young-un's in the field. They're the future of our sporting life; start 'em young!
(Good job there, grandpa, I figure you had a hand in the event )

See my other reply to your question....list it over on Accurate Shooter; won't last long.

Re: 204 brass
I'd recommend listing it over on Accurate Shooter, as it gets much more traffic than here, and 204 brass is always being searched for there. Good luck, it should sell quickly.

Re: 204 Ruger, which factory rifle?
Paul, sweet rifle, most excellent scenery, even if you did embellish it a tad with color correction. I'm also guilty of doing that, making a great scene excellent. It's what we do, right? If you keep posting such great material, you're going to encourage a small migration of varmint shooters ...

Re: 204 Ruger, which factory rifle?
Paul, great looking country, beautiful Cooper rifle, great photo. :wtg: I've visited MT and WY on many occasions, never had a bad time in either state. Like you, I much favor my Coopers too, but in recent years have found that taking those beautiful Claro walnut stocks into the wild makes me cringe ...

Is this Ken, formally "Kenbro"?
If so, good to have an old friend back! Why the name change?

Re: Backyard Rat Rodeo
HA! Love it! :wtg: Having a trusty air rifle handy is a good thing for those 'close encounters of the varmint kind'. It's nice when we can get that backyard action whenever we can. When one lives in town, it greatly diminishes those ops, but they're available to those who have the chance when...

Welcome back there, Brogadini! Many here are also into what's known as "geezerhood", and as such, have hopefully gained some knowledge along the way. You're also not the only member here from the UK, so maybe one of them will pipe up now that you've 'arrived'. And we're all slaves to our h...

Re: Vortex Crossfire Beater Bimoculars
Looks like a decent deal on non-primary bino's. Might have been of interest to me if the following had not taken place: (Been gone camping in the high country for a week + and just saw this.) A few months ago I was in my local pawn shop and spied a Leupold mini bino, 10x25 for $200. After a negotiat...

Re: Bought a new Leupold scope for my 280AI.
Well then VM, lack of suitable optics will not be an issue with your new rifle, neither will choice of caliber. That should be a very nice rig. Although I do not hunt or kill bears, having almost a second life with them when I worked in logging camps on the big island in BC. I've had about 30 close-...

Sale on 39gr SBK!
This won't last long, so posting it for those who want to take advantage of the almost unobtainable 39gr Sierra Blitz King .20 cal bullet. We don't see these on the shelf much these days, and seeing a sale on them is even more astounding. Load up while you can. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1482...

Re: Gopher Getter
Well it appears we need some input to keep this place alive. So with that in mind and our rock chucks and ground squirrels now taking their annual nap, attention has turned to shooting jackwabbits in the junipers and sage. Taking running shots with a nice modified 10-22 is beaucoup fun and keeps a g...
