Help with cleaning

I have been cleaning my .243 Winchester and continually get a blue grey patch. I have patched it out with JB Bore Cleaning Compound-I have also done the barrel out with Sweets. I have brushed it with a bronze brissle brush-I have washed the brush after every time I scrub the barrel-I have patched it...

I have used the 1 1/8 patches and they work fine. Just shot the .204 today and run it in. The first shot was a flyer after just cleaning the rifle. The 5 shots measured 3/4 ". The last 4 of the 5 shots fit under a 5 cent piece at 100 yards. I love my Cooper and am ready for the next one-just go...

What size patches for .204

I was wondering if anybody can recommend the size of patches to use for the cooper .204 and what brush is better, nylon or brass? I use a pro-shot patch 1 1/8 inch square for the .223. Any advice or heads up would be appreciated. :D

Its been too bloody hot with 39 degree days and not enough time as there always seems to be something to do. Have a good day today but now it is raining. I have the bullets made and rearing to go-just waiting for the chance to get a shot. Will let you know how I go when I do. :eew:

I have picked the rifle up-very nice gun and very happy with it. I am putting a VZ3 6.5-20x40LR Leupold scope on it. I havent fired it yet-just havent had time yet but busting to do that-too hot out there and waiting for the weather to cool a bit too. Cant wait for those prawns Sth Oz Dan!!!! Merry ...

Hi Ozfox I emailed Cooper and they advised the rifle had been sent to the exporter in June and it may take another 6 months for the exporter to be sent to Australia and that this corresponds to the last contact with MOA. Still waiting. contacted MOA Performance-was told the rifle has been made and sitting in Seattle with the new export company waiting to be shipped. I expect another 4-5 weeks of waiting. :wall: :wall:

Hi OzFox-No mate-he has had it ordered for 14 months now and still waiting. Last notice was it was made and waiting on being shipped to Australia.
