Re: Anybody using Vihtavouri?

I have used N133 in my 223 for years and it is my favorite powder. Great accuracy and smoking velocity. I loaded up some Dogtowns with 25.5 in my 204 Encore 2 years ago. They shot ok but I did not tinker at all with that load. It seem very sedate, but I did not chrono it. I have just loaded up some ...

Re: Colt: A fair deal?

You should be ashamed of yourself. Taking advantage like that. To make you feel better I will trade you my Gen 1 Glock 22 and two mags. You will then feel good about yourself giving more then you receive. I will grudgingly accept your Python. What is your mailing address? I will mail it as soon as ...

Re: 35 gr Bergers to the range...

My Encore has shot some really great groups with the Bergers. They are by far my favorite bullet for this rifle. It shoots well with Hornady and Sierras but really comes to life with the Bergers.

Re: questions about 35gr bergers

I use 28.0 of 4895 in my Encore and these bullets shoot better then any others I have tried and I have tried almost all of them. One hole accurate if I am on my game. Not all day long however.. : )

Re: H4895 for 204?

Melvin what cases are you getting 29.0 grains in? 28.0 needs to be tamped down in my experience to fit.

Re: H4895 for 204?

I use H4895 for mine as well. 35 Bergers shoot great, 39 grain Sierra good but not like the Bergers. 28.0 in my rifle is what I use. Your results may vary.

Re: .204 Shared Reloading Experience

I am shooting an Encore and it really likes hot loads. I have found that 28.0 of 4895 and 7 1/2's works well with all the bullets I have tried. It is REAL good with Berger 35's and just a bit bigger with the 39's. I think it is a little hot with the 34 grain Midways. They are just around an inch or ...
