Finally a great group!

Took the CZ 204 Varmint to the range today and shot a great group. I usually have a flyer but all 5 went into the same ragged hole at 100 yards. Using 39gr BK's in front of 25.6 gr of Benchmark Remington 7 1/2 primers and Norma brass. 2.31 COL. Scope is Nikon Monarch 3 6-24x50. http://i983.photobuck...

Re: Reloads for .204 ruger.

Here's my favorite for my CZ 527 Varmint 39 BK Federal Match Primers 25.6 gr Benchmark 2.31 COL Shot this on Sat. Best I can do with my aging eyes at 100 yds. I can get tighter groups with 35 gr Bergers but always have a flyer for some reason so I stick with Sierra BK's. The stray holes in the targe...

Almost had a box but oh well...maybe next time

Got a notice yesterday from MidwayUSA that 39 gr Blitzkings were in stock so order soon as they will be sold out soon. Well guess what.....I was too late. So how long for next time? Sure hope to find some soon. I'd even take a box of 35 grain Bergers but these seem even more rare. Oh well back to th...

Re: Better powder dispenser

I use the RCBS with Benchmark and find it always drops within .1 or less....I check my drops with an electronic scale and use and RCBS manual scale for backup. So far very happy with the results

Re: 204 Norma Brass on sale !!

This stuff is great. Can't believe the tolerances on Norma brass. Flash hole uniformer loved them. Neck resizer loved them. My Lee hand primer (now 40years old and doing great) loved them.....every primer was seated with the exact same pressure. OAL length was spot on. Cant' wait to see how they cha...

Re: What's the next powder I should get?

Tried Benchmark, 10X and H4895 in my CZ .204 Varmint. Benchmark is my very favorite. By far best groups with the 39Bk's

Re: My First Egg Shoot

Three were about a dozen people. Not as big as I had expected. We have a new shelter..nice (see pic above). They said that the shoot at the Fennville club is a bit bigger....Fennville MI near the state game area

Re: My First Egg Shoot

South Haven is in S W Michigan on the big lake. I live in Grand Rapids and it's an hour drive to our lake house and salmon boat. Nice to have a shooting range there for windy days when you can't get on the lake. Range is quite protected from west winds
