Re: starting to reload .204 have a few ?'s

Maybe I should of said overpriced. I have 2 sets of redding dies and and I will tell you right now. I can load the same loads on a set of $28 Lee dies and the rifle shoots the same. I just personally think that Redding charges alot more for a product that is not superior, and I'm not saying Lee is a...

Re: starting to reload .204 have a few ?'s

I would buy the Lee collet die myself and then buy the Forster full length die set. You can buy the Collet die buy itself. This way you can just neck size with the collet die and then when you need to bump the shoulder you have the F/L die in the Forster set. Personally, I am beginning to see and ex...

Re: 204 dies

I personally use the Lee Collet and seater die. Not saying the Forrester or Redding dies aren't good cuz I use em in some of my other calibers. Its just so hard to justify spending $80-$100 for dies when the $30 Lee set loads such accurate ammo. http://i467.photobucket.com/albums/rr39/JayinKs/PICT00...

Re: Barrel twist for 39 gr Blitz King

My CZ shoots em great and its a 1 in 12. Also shot the 40gr Bergers pretty good as well with the nod going to the sierras.

Stock options for a CZ 527??

I have a CZ527 with the wood stock and would like to know who makes Kevlar stocks for the CZ. I would like to have something similar to the factory CZ Kevlar. Thanks

Re: Nikon Monarch scopes

Wow! I didn't realize the nikons were taking such a beating lately. All of mine are older models and the glass is very good and I have yet to experience a problem with any of the 4 I have. I have a Leopold I bought that is a 4-12 VXII. This was when they moved the VXIII to the VXII and everbody alwa...

Re: Nikon Monarch scopes

Monarchs are absolutely one of the best buys out there for the oney. I have 4 of em and all are great glass. However, I bought a 4-12 Vortex Viper and I have to say I will be buying Vortex from now on.

A Reloading Tip, Maybe ?

I know theres alot of talk on these sites about setting COL. This is just a little tool I use to help me with setting up my dies for various bullets used. You first need to establish your chambers OAL with your bullet of choice. I use a Stoney Point guage for this. I write that down and then take th...

Re: 40 gr berger load data

I have run 27.6grs of H4895 with the 40gr Berger in my CZ and accuracy was great. This is just about max in my rifle.

Ever hear of Dunbar Reloading dies?

An aquaintance I knew said he had come across a set of dies for a 222 and asked if I would like to have em cuz he had no use for them. I said sure! Well, he brought em buy the other day and it turns out the neck die is just an old RCBS, fair shape. The seater die is stamped "Dunbar .222 seater ...

Re: Who's using Redding dies and what type?

Redding is no doubt top notch. And, I do own a few Redding dies, a Competition seater for a 22-250 and a full length set for my Mach IV. I once thought these dies must be the stuff as they were always pricier than other dies and I figured you pay for what you get. So, I bought em. However, I have fo...

Re: Anyone shot the New Varmageddons yet???

Do you guys think the .209 BC of the 32gr Varmageddon will sacrifice alot to the .287 BC of the 39gr Sierra? Most of my shooting with the 204 is under 350yds. Which do you think will be flatter and drift less out to 350? I think I know the answer, but?

Re: ACCURACY PROBLEM

To the OP, Sounds like that could of been the limit of the rifle. The 204 is a very accurate round! I bought my 204 a couple yrs ago but only recently started loading for it. I got lucky I guess. Grabbed some 39gr Sierras and had some 4895 on the shelf mixed it all togather and my first group ever w...
