I had a Monarch 6-24X50 on a .223. For the money I paid, I think it is JUNK compared to an equally priced Ziess that I known. I sold the scope and took a $200 loss.

rooster , I'm not necessarily recommending neck turning, especially for a factory chamber/barrel......just check your brass for neck thickness variations of more than about .0015" to .002" per side. If the neck varies that much, then the case body itself most likely does too, so the brass...

Another option to try: Lube on pointer finger and thumb. Spin case between thumb and finger, start on neck and stop about a third of the way down from case shoulder. Don't need a bunch and won't have to clean dies as often. Too much lube creates a bunch of clean-up and may wrinkle shoulder. Too lit...
