loading 32g nosler bt

Need load data for 32gr nosler ballistic tip bullets using rl-10x and/or h4895. The reason for these powders is that have ample supplies. Have been to nosler, alliant and hodgdon websites, none of the combinations are addressed. Looking for 'safe' load ranges, min/max. I'm a rookie only been reloadi...

cz527 kevlar vs walnut

I am looking at getting a cz527 varmint. Although they no longer produce it, the 527 with kevlar is still available. My understanding is the kevlar stock has a bedding rail and is floated. The walnut is neither bedded or floated. I like the looks of the walnut, however, want the one which should per...

jo191145, believe me I do not understand either. You would have thought after shooting it numerous times it might have smoothed itself out a little

Re: savage 10/110 problems/guestions

Sorry for the late response guys. Upon suggestions I purchased some Bore Tech products. They performed quit well, barrel was cleaner than it had ever been. Also what I perceived as a crack in the stock was actually a small slit in the camo covering material. Went back to the range and the first 12 o...

Re: Tell us about yourself...

I'm new here also. I recently acquired a CZ 527 Varmint Kevlar and put a Harris bi-pod and a SWFA SS fixed 10x mildot scope on it. Sweet rifle and I am getting some good groups with it. I just picked up some Harnady 40 gr V-Max and got my best group ever on the second group - almost a third MOA at ...

Re: savage 10/110 problems/guestions

I appreciate the feedback from everyone. I had been shooting 32gr Fiocchi's with pretty good luck. When began to shoot eradict I tried some 32gr hornady's with same results. I cleaned the heck out of it. Based on suggestions, after using the wipe out I ran a brush and good ol' reliable Hoppe's #9 th...

savage 10/110 problems/guestions

Having problems. I know alot of this has been addressed before but I am sure alot of you wouldn't mind helping a fellow out again. Thank you all in advance. You guys are the best. #1, went to the range couple of days ago and the rifle shot all over the place. Absolutely no pattern to the point of co...

Re: Barrel Cleaning

Question. I too am using wipe out/patch out and accelerator at the recommendation of the folks at 'crt' and have had excellent results. However, I am concerned that instructions say do not use with any other chemicals. Also says no oiling of barrel necessary. Don't think I ever left a weapon un oile...

Re: new to forum, new to the 204

Thanks, that is the type of info that I am looking for! Especially how the 1:12 handled the 40 gr.

Also need pros/cons of fluted barrel when pd shooting with the .204. worth paying extra?
