Re: Any non frangible bullets for the 204?

Although I haven't run the 45 Hornady, the best non-frangible bullets I've used in the .204 has been the 35 or 40 Bergers. They will not splash. Sometimes they won't exit but myself and a lot of buds have never had one splash, even on shoulder hits. Not that I'd shoot a deer in the shoulder with one...

Re: TAC Results

Danny, The bottom 2 holes were from the 25.7 load about 1MOA below the load pictured and were not in the 25.5 group. The 25.7 load went into .4" if I remember correctly. I use one point of aim when I'm working up loads and adjust the scope between loads. Weird I know but I can fit lots and lots...

WTT 26 grain Varmint Grenades and WTB 40 grain Vmax

Have around 170 or so (I can get exact count if someone's interested) .20 caliber 26 grain Varmint Grenades and am looking to trade for some .20 caliber 40 grain Vmax's...

Also if anyone has some 40 grain Vmax lying around they are not using please let me know.

I'd sure appreciate it...

Re: .204 Lee Die help

The dies have been returned and headspace was set at a minimum but the problem persists.

I will try swapping out shellholders as I have a .223 shell holder handy that might fit.

Re: .204 Lee Die help

Thanks fellas.... Called Lee yesterday and they said to try two things: 1) Screw the die in further until there is zero space between the die and the shellholder when lowering the ram, and 2) make sure the decapper pin is set up properly with no more than 1/8" of the pin at any time showing abo...

.204 Lee Die help

Morning fellas. Been reloading for close to 3 years now and have an issue that I have yet to come across in my time. I'm trying to FL size some once fired .204 brass. Some from my gun, some from a friend of mine hence the FL sizing and not just the necks. All are Hornady brass. When FL sizing I alwa...

Reduced .204 load help

Fellas, After running a full speed .204 for 3 or 4 years now I'm changing directions with it. I'm thinking of strictly finding a fur load with it. I realize I could change calibers, etc. but I love my rifle and setup and just think a 32-40 grain bullet at 2800 would be mighty nice... Not going the R...
