Re: 17 Fireball

Very fun round to shoot! :D Good companion to go with the 204 for shorter shots between 100 and 300 yards on PDs.

Re: Ruger 77 target

GlennGTR I am happy with my Ruger VT right out of the box! http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u188/race4hills/Scan0010.jpg It will shoot less than 1/2" 5 shot groups with 39gr BK's and right at 1/2'' with factory 32 Hornaday's. You may not need to do anything at all. I have 5 Rugers and like th...

Thanks VT,
From what I was told and what I've read that it was not worth trying. I will give it a try.

Re: Factory Ruger Trigger

Rick65Cat, Ruger is a family owned busness and they work really hard not to get a lawsuite against them. In newer models in a word no. I have the same rifle as you and I like the trigger fine even with a little more pull. Replacing is the best fix for a Ruger trigger if not happy with it.

I have had no problem with the 500+ R+P brass that I have. It took longer to prep the 500 W-W brass and had 1 split case out of the bag.

tt35 thanks for the information. I pass it on to my boss, I am sure he will get working soon! He was not very happy with problems with two new guns the first time he used them. But a easy fix should make him feel better about them.

??? for Savage 17 hmr owners.

Have any of you have had any problems with the clips with your guns? My boss just got two new hmrs for him and his son and both of the guns had the same problem. You load the clip every thing is fine, but install the clip about half way in and it releases the first three rounds in the magazine. Has ...
