I guess like all said i wouldn't want to actually go puma hunting with a 204. but when it comes down to me or the cat ..the cat gets the 35 berger(s). I would think if it kept up the stalk after yelling at it bad dad would have done the same. California is where all those joggers and bicyclists got ...

Great Experience. iv'e never seen a wild one .One of my wants.
Iv'e come too close to a bear a time or two without a gun. And a moose
or two(which can be really nerve racking trust me) . but having one of those
big cats stalking me.. whew :eek:

Thats the first i heard of major pelt damage from a 35 gr berger.
I loaded up a bunch of these for yotes ..just havn't connected yet

I shot one at about 300yrds with a 22-250 once . Again not a feather friendly round. 1/2 the crow locked on to the tree branch the other half blew up
nicely. with a shower of feathers afterwards..

try the 39 gr sierra or 35 gr berger they both shoot well in my kimber.

i mounted my mec jr to the board and clamp deal as my bench is not very big. i Can just pick it up and put it on the floor when i am not shotshell reloading. wolfman.
brass after several firings will get brittle. heating or annealing
the necks helps to bring the necks back to thier old pliable selves again.
It has something to do with realigning the atoms in the brass.

Tried 39g sierra bk with 25.4 gr of re10x.
5 shot group .613
tried 45 gr hornady sp with 24.6 gr re10x
3 shot group .214
