The silly 3.44 screw spacing, not much in the way of aftermarket stocks or chassis. Mine is soon to be a 4.41, back hole is there but not tapped, plenty of room for the front one.

May as well fill in the blanks as to the build, nothing special really. Re: 20 BR anyone
This project came after a phone call to Todd Kindler about three years ago, the call lasted close to 2 hours. I learned a fair bit in the conversation. My whole main purpose is to shoot a prairie dog at 1000. I will not be the first by any means. They are no chip shot at that range with any rig. Fin...

Re: 20 BR anyone
I ran this up .5 at a time to 30.5. With the 30.0 load I still gained 40 FPS, numbers were not what I was looking for. 30.5 I only gained an average of 10 FPS, but SD 7 and ES 10. Powder is just into the shoulder, if compressed it is very very little. Groups were still under MOA@100. Now to tinker w...

Re: My New rifle and new member
Those four powders, I have used them all. I used a lot of CCI 400 primers for years with no issues. Don’t know if it was a lot issue or what, but one summer I started popping them loaded with R10X loads. I have since went to 450’s or 71/2’s no more issues.
YMMV

That Fiocchi ammo was some of the best factory ammo I ever shot, price was right back then too.
Buddy bought a CZ 204 and that is what he shot. He says he struggles to get hand loads to shoot as good.

I think I am official as an OF
Not here but else where, asking questions that are pretty much elementary to my way of thinking. I don’t think anyone reads published books or literature anymore. If it is not on some form of social media they either don’t believe or don’t see it. Speed and pressure goes, hand in hand, no way around...

The horizontal was consistent and I am now pretty sure it was my rear bag set up after talking with some folks.

Re: 20 BR anyone
Well after what I feel like was an extensive search and reaching out to some, I got zero responses. 10-14 years ago there was a lot of chatter on the 20BR with heavy bullets. Lots of threads with some data was about all I came up with. There has been some new powders show up and a lot of the old sta...

Re: Small Caliber Posted Results Shoot 2024
There was a 222 match at Accurate Shooter a while back. They in turn had another that included others based off of 222/223 family so to speak.
There was no winner or loser, groups were measured and recorded. I believe there was a lot learned by many. They listed equipment and load data I believe.

Re: Ruger Hawkeye Predator .204 (~$1100) or Savage 110 Predator .204 (~$850)?
I won’t be shy, I am a Savage nut, own more than my share. After market support for them has come on slowly but getting better. I have had a couple of Ruger 77’s, in big game calibers though. Until the changed up actions a while back you seldom if ever saw one at a match. Today’s popular games, they...

My excuse is the right tool for the job.
I have more than one wrench, screwdriver or hammer.

What I have been using for quite a while is the little plastic tip deals from the Dr office. The thing they snap on the light to look in your ear or nose.

Re: Small Caliber Posted Results Shoot 2024
I know all to well of how hard it is to run any kind of match, beeninvolved in numerous in years past. It seems the younger crowd for the most part is more concerned with how pretty their rig is, or how fast it will shoot with little concern of accuracy or precision. Then there are those that have g...

Re: lets talk powder.....
Out and about yesterday morning chasing stuff for work. Place opened at 0900, I was there and doors were locked. Ok not a problem, 10 minutes to Scheels. Got the last pound of N140, looked around quick and noticed they had a FULL selection of Saturn powder funnels, 17 and up. Got a 17 and a 20, guys...
