Sons first coyote hunt

My step-son wanted a predator hunt for his 12th birthday. Who was I to say no :yoyo:. Took him a little while to figure out you have to shoot fast. But watching dad shoot a couple sure fired him up. He shot his dog at 7 feet on a full run right at him. We were sitting in the bush right behind him in...

Oh heck yeah. Let me know as far in advance as possible so I don't book that time. Glad you like the calls. Now we gotta kill something with it and post up some pics of the aftermath.

Be VERY VERY VERY careful with your movement. If you move at all they will see you! I make custom calls for a living and guide hunters every year and NEVER use an electronic call. Not saying they aren't effective, just don't like them. Start your calling scenario with a low volume 60 second string o...

3 in 1 call

This is a variation of a design that Kerry Carver started. I called him after I made this call and asked if he minded if I made a variation to it. He gave me his blessing and actually encouraged me to do it. So here is the call. It is a Zebrawood call with a closed reed, howler and a squealer all in...

I initially had a problem with the 40gr but I was loading them too slow. I have put some A$$ behind them (near max) and they are performing MUCH better.

I make my own calls and use them exclusively. I just prefer calling them in myself. Makes the hunt more worthwhile for me. Just my opinion about ME! Not knocking e-callers at all. Whatever gets floks into the field and off the couch.

Seemed at times that the sound of a car horn would bring the dogs running. Of all the sets I made only 2 didn't produce a dog. Most brought 2 ...
