22 Nosler

Has anyone shot the new 22 Nosler (Rick)? It looks like it could be a real powerhouse for it's size. Wonder if it would have any real advantages over a 22-250 in a bolt rifle??

Re: Video fun from 2016

Nice video, what calibers were your guys using? It is so nice to make red mist with friends and family.

Re: H4895 / Sierra Blitzking

To post pictures, go to the general forum in the Board index. The 2nd entry explains how to post pictures. Nobody here is offended by red mist photos so do not worry about that. Looking forward to your posts, welcome.

Re: Savage LRPV not up to expectations

My Savage 204s, 12VLP and 11 Thumbhole would put 3 shots under a dime out of the box. Try 26 grains of H4895 with 39 grain Blitzkings with OBL at 2.408 inches. This is well under a max load. Everybody has their own history with rifles, I would not own another Remington, three bad ones in a row!

Re: H4895 / Sierra Blitzking

My Savages like 26 grains of H4895 on 39 grain Blitzkings as they give me the best accuracy. That is 1 1/2 grains under max load but missing really fast does nothing for me. Welcome to the site, great bunch of people here. Pictures, we like pictures especially if not in the US. I like to see how oth...

Re: H4895 V IRM4895

According to Hodgdon, "Extreme powders perform just as well at 125 degrees as they do at 0 degrees." I do not shoot outside those conditions. He was asking what some of the differences were and this is one of them.

Re: H4895 V IRM4895

The H4895 is temperature insensitive so it is same at any temperature.

22 Hornet and 223 were the only ones listed both times I looked for it there.

Re: ND PD Hunt on 8-20-2016

It is always special to shoot with family. Lots of feed for the predators and helped out the land owner! I have had people horn in on our shooting as well and always takes some fun out of it, but at least he left! :loser: I sure wish I had prairie dogs that close to me!! Happy Shooting

Re: Bore solvent

I like Montana Xtreme Copper Killer and Wipe-Out foam cleaner for carbon and easy cleaning. The fewer times I run the cleaning rod down the barrel the better I like it.

Re: Need primer help please!

I use Federal 210 gold match bullets all the time with good results, but not the small rifle. I am with you in that I only shoot Rem 7 1/2 match in all my small rifles, including ARs.

Another good day, unless your a prairie dog! 17 calibers are so much fun to shoot. I love my 17 Fireball too. No recoil and you can see everything in the scope. Thanks for taking us along on another fun shoot. :D

Re: Few 204 hunting pics from last season

Wow, what a season. Great pictures, thanks for sharing! So did the girlfriend have to go out with you to be with you? You must spend a lot of time in the field to get that many animals. Sure wish my state had a wolf season!! Keep up the good times.
