Re: Which cleaning rod?
I use carbon fiber rods as they cannot harm your barrel and there is no coatings to peel off and go somewhere. Just be cautious with carbon fiber rods with the 17 and 20 calibers as they have small threads and will break if you have the patch too tight and try to pull it back out.

Re: Recommend me a tumbler!
I have a depriming tool, but since the vibrator type cleaner does not get into the pockets that well and I have had media stuck into the flash holes, I have chosen not to do it that way. I have a primer pocket cleaner on my case prep center so it is not a big thing for me and faster than depriming e...

Re: Recommend me a tumbler!
I have been happy with my Frankford Arsenal vibrating tumbler. The brass comes out looking shiny and new. I like corn media and Flitz polish in it. I just did not get into the wet brass, from the sonic and metal rotary media. I prefer to not put my dirty brass through my dies to take the primers out...

Re: TO CRIMP AR 204 AMMO OR NOT???
I used Forster dies and could crimp with them? I would use as little crimp as needed so that the bullet does not move in the case. I went to a Redding S type resizing die.

Re: Winchester brass
I have not loaded the Nosler blems yet but I inspected them closely. They looked good to me and could not find any issues, except maybe a tint in color. Keep those blems coming! If anyone needs 204 brass I would get it while it lasts.

Re: Winchester brass
Well Nosler has 204 blems on sale for $20 for 50. I ordered 200. That with the last order should keep me in 204 brass for awhile. Life is good.

Nothing but the best! I got to stay with my best friend in Montana. Now he moved to North Decolder, too far of a drive now. It will be the no tell motel in Montana now! I just gotta get that prairie dog fix in once a year and then sage rat time when I can.

I guess it will be Remington for bulk. I hope to get some more Nosler blems when available. Put the word out if you hear of any please.

Winchester brass
I have not bought Winchester brass for some time, not available! I have been hearing from customers that they have been getting bad Winchester brass. Some of the holes are not centered. The mouth of the cases are messed up and not usable. I am wondering is someone else is making it or just poo...

Re: Pawnee Grasslands PDog Hunts
Sounds like you got a nice little honey hole for a target rich environment! Prairie dogs are so much fun to shoot. You can get some great long range shooting in. Sage rats can be the fast and furious shooting. What rifle(s) are you using?

Another great trip you took us along with, thank you. I am jealous that you have prairie dogs so close to you. It sure looks like some great coyote hunting area you have as well. Is the 22-250 a new rifle for you?

Re: Fun Time in 2 ND PD Towns
Yes that is exactly what I wanted to know. I have found that if you shoot prairie dogs at 300 yards or more, they usually just move or run to another mound after the shots, without a suppressor. You get more shooting in without all the wait time for them to come back up. I hope to get a trust in the...
