There is no adjustment for headspace on an AR. It either headspaces correctly or it doesn't. If it doesn't, you need to swap bolts.
Chances are it will headspace properly, but you really need headspace gauges to be sure.

Re: 22 Hornet to 22 K-Hornet
Thanks for the info, guys.
Rick, those Low Walls are great guns. If I could find one at a decent price, I'd snap it up in a heartbeat.

22 Hornet to 22 K-Hornet
I have seen some deals on rifles chambered in 22 Hornet. I know the conversion to K-Hornet is pretty simple, and provides some real benefits. And besides, it is just a cool little cartridge. :D However, I already have a 221 Fireball. Are these two rounds similar enough that there isn't much benefit ...

Re: Shotgun / pistol powder??
Lots of shotgun powders do double duty for handgun calibers, too. I load .45 acp and .38 spcl with Hodgdon Clays.
Just check the manuals for all the info you will need.

Re: Handgun for CC
In a 1911, look at the CCO configuration (Commander length slide, Officers frame). Dan Wesson makes a nice one. Mine is a custom built by John Harrison on a Caspian slide and frame: http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn124/TaxPhd/3a0cb289.jpg For a full size, Kimber makes some nice ones. This is a v...

Re: New Cooper
Nice rifle, Rick. Mine says "Hello."
It's hard to tell in the picture, but do you have the Leupold Alumina lens covers on that scope? If so, how do you like them?

Re: New Cooper
Does anyone have the varmint hunter reticle in the Leupold? If so, how do you like it? Is it preferable to a regular duplex or fine duplex?

Re: New Cooper
Most of my Fireball reloading stuff should be delivered today, and I can start on load development. Now I just need to get a scope ordered.

New Cooper
I have been lurking for a while now, but didn't feel like I could join in without an appropriate rifle to show everyone. Well, my wait is over. :D My new-to-me Cooper Model 38 in .221 Fireball. I got a great deal on it on Gun Broker. Like new condition, and less than 100 rounds through it. Now I nee...
