Re: Metal re-action
Pull a bullet and shoot a picture. I doubt there is an issue.

Re: New to AR- in 204 ruger
Thanks
Interesting on the feeding, I had not thought of that.
Any loads the sierra 39's your DPMS liked you can share?
I was thinking of trying some rel 10x also.
Thanks

New to AR- in 204 ruger
Pretty much new to the 204 ruger also, but expanding my collection rapidly. I picked up an SPS rem 26" stainless fluted varmint, put a shim under the front action screw to reduce forend pressure ( has worked before to get an idea of freefloating) and loaded 34 grain dogtowns , 39 Blitzkings and...

Re: My latest AR 15
Nice rig and groups.
So what are the particulars, trigger weight, and how much to build an upper that shoots that good? I have a 204 ar on the way, hoping it can shoot double your group size...lol

wtb 223 Varmint synthetic- rem 700
Looking to fill a void in my gun collection. The golden gun would be an older 700 VSSF w/ HS prec stock, VLS, any good shooting gun you have stuck in the corner and don't use?
Thanks

34 grain dogtowns ?
I have only tried 39SBK and 34 grain Dogtown bullets so far, but my Rem seems to like the 34's better than 39 Sierra's. Curious if they have a reputation for being sub par, or as good as the more expensive sierra's. Use will be Varmints, and H335 seems to give good groups in my gun. Hoping to save s...

Re: Need help deciding on which powder to use?
I just fired my new 204 sps varmint fluted stainless using h335 only, and got 1/2" 5 shot groups with both the 39 SBK's and 34 grain dogtowns. Not sure if anyone else's gun likes H335, but I have 5# and won't try other powders until this batch is gone. I ended up loading this batch w/ old WW pr...

Re: CZ ACTION SMOOTHING ?
I had the same issue with my 527 in 221 fb. I cleaned everything well and used a synthetic oil that should have helped, but not much. I then applied a small amount of 1200 grit polishing medium, gave it probably 20 cycles and cleaned and re-applied oil. It seemd to be better, but still couldn't cycl...
