Re: sako 75 varmint 204 loads
I think that you can expect amazing accuracy with this rifle. As far as load data, you are going to have to work up your own to see what the rifle likes. Even someones favourite load with the same rifle might not work in yours, or might even be dangerous. Under the reloading section people have put ...

Re: Went to the gun store today
Jim did you put a bipod or sling on yours? I think I'm going to at least put a sling on mine. I built some shooting sticks for it this morning, and tried them out this afternoon. Varmint Al's design. They worked awesome. 146 yard head shot with a crosswind using a rimfire. Did I say before I'm impre...

Re: Four more pasture poodles down in WV
Nice! Its good to see green grass lol, its still brown with some snow in my neck of the woods. Did the lady give any indication as to why she didn't want a semi auto used on her property? Seems kind of silly if she wants the hogs dead.

Re: 204 brass
I have never bought Hornady brass. I have reloaded all of the Hornady brass from the factory loaded ammo I have purchased. I also had 150 once fired cases given to me, so I have about 250 total. I have never had problems with neck splits (the primer pockets are tight though). That said I don't know ...

Re: Went to the gun store today
Beautiful day here today, even if there is still snow on the ground. Took the .17 out this morning. I'm pretty impressed with it so far. I don't think the gophers like it much. https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-pCZ7Bu2oI14/UYVqxCaI8rI/AAAAAAAAAXQ/W_XX4Md5ykA/s640/IMG_0947-1.JPG They don't fly like ...

Re: Went to the gun store today
You got that right. However I must say its just my crappy cell phone picture if it that makes it look blue. The stock is really a red colour. The stock just feels right when you hold it to your shoulder. Probably the easiest rim fire I have ever sighted in. One adjustment and it was perfect. Probabl...

Re: No brass anywhere !
I just found some Remington brass when I was in the city, so I snapped them up. I was surprised when I found a Redding neck sizer die in stock. I have lots of Hornady brass with several firings and have had no issues with it yet.

Longest winter of my life
The never ending winter this year is starting to get annoying. Beautiful day today, bright sun shine, temp actually getting up to 17C. So I thought screw all the snow I'm going out. My range is still snowed in so I haven't developed a load for my 32gr Sierra's yet. So I grabbed a bunch of factory Ho...

Re: new .204
Congratulations on what sounds like a great rifle. You must provide pictures! The stores around me seem to have difficulty keeping them in stock. They say its the hottest small caliber at the moment.

Case Media Separator
Does anyone use these with their 204 cases? I have been thinking about getting one as removing the media by hand is a pain.
Thanks

Re: 204 rifle
Tikka does make them in 204 as I have one, but I don't think that they are imported to the States. They don't import the super varmint into Canada anymore either.
