Re: Silencer for ND Prairie Dog Hunt on 8-20-2012
Silverfox xcellent write up. I would love to have a silencer but here in Illinois it will get ya ten years. No permits available. I cant wait to retire in six years and get out of this place. I was surprissed how short the silencer is in the picture. I am sure it would be nice when coyote hunting as...

Re: AR reloading problem
It does sound to me like perhaps your gun was chambered tight kneck to a factory case and perhaps not to a go gage. This would be unique to a factory gun? Doesnt make allot of sense but could reamer have been worn when barrel was reamed? I am grasping at straws. There is no reason you shlould have t...

Re: AR reloading problem
Yes My steel mags have a ridge or bump on each side. when a bullet is slamed forward those are often a bit sharp. Bye filing the edges more rounded and smooth I have eliminated denting.

Re: 34 grain Dogtowns and RL10x
Should be safe to use data for 35 g Berger with 10x My book shows start 21.5 g Max 23.8 G This is a touch heavyer bullet but should be relativly safe data to use even though coefficents vary. Both are flat base bullets.

Re: Minimum Twist for 55gr Berger Bullets??
Yes 1 in 9 in minimal. I have a Shilen 24 inch 1in 9 It shoots 50 g bergers with same poi as 40 grainers. I wiped a coyote out at 296 yrds with a 50 grainer last week. Berger recomends 1 in 8 twist for the 55 grainer. This is from there new reloading manual. Let me know how it performs if you get up...

I have a rock river lower and it feeds excellent no matter what mag I use or how full. I did smooth out edges of feed bumps on all my mags as cases were getting nicked. Other n that no issues

Re: AR trigger adjustment
I had a jewell, and it got real finicy and troublesome. I called Jewel tech support three times and did what they sugested and gun still would not fire a second shot. I ordered a set of 3.5 lb light pull JP springs from midway. I then did the junc yard genius techneque. Awsome are the results total ...
