Dillon xl650 for .204

I just bought a Dillon 650 for my .45, 9, and .223 and was wondering if anyone on here has used a Progressive reloader for .204. I ask because I see it as being a pain to resize the brass to proper dimensions without a case guage. As far as I know Dillon doesn't sell a case guage for .204....... Sin...

Re: Help: LRV Duplex v. Fine Duplex for 17 HMR?

I have one as well on my AR and works great......but for a .17, it is too much scope for the effective range. I would stick with a 9X or at most 14x.

Re: Burris rings availability

I know the tactical rings and base mount was made in China, it didn't say it on the box but you had to look inside on the part and there the sticker was. It was almost like they were hiding it.....so I vowed not to buy any item by them. It may not make a difference.........but buying something that ...

Re: Burris rings availability

I also looked at them when I was building my AR. What turned me off on them is where they are made. For the same money I could buy something that was made domestically. Maybe I'm not the only one that feels the same way and demand for their products has dropped enough for them to change their game p...

Re: Bolt not closong all the way

When Full Lenth sizing you must adjust the die to where your handle will "cam" over. Usually 1/8 turn past touching does the trick for me on my RCBS dies.

Re: Thumbler Tumbler?

I have their 18 lb vibratory tumbler and like it alot. The one you have is a rotory tumbler right? I can't imagine that a vibratory tumbler having gears. I have called their factory before when I was shopping for a good tumbler, they sound like good people and all their stuff is made right here on A...

Re: Opinion on Ruger Mark II Target

I have the exact rifle. Excellent weapon in my opinion. My Ruger is topped off with a Leupold VX-III 6-20x40 and is smoking accurate at 300 yards. Mine shoots 40 grain lead very well with benchmark and Rem 7 1/2 primers. I know most guys don't like 40 grain lead in a 12:1 twist but my rifle with the...

Re: fellow 204 ar reloaders?

I use the Competition set by RCBS and have never had a missfeed or problem with chambering. I would recommend that you modify the deflector to keep your brass from getting dinged up and help your sizing. I use a small piece of the fuzzy side of velcro on the deflector to soften the blow when ejected...
