great discussion here.

I am really looking forward to getting an HMR soon, and it is a toss up between the savage and marlin, or making my old marlin 25 a wmr/hmr switch barrel. Will probably be going with the savage because of my brand loyalty and the accutrigger.

I think that the belief of POi changing with a power change is that on lower powers, the cross hair takes up more of the target and as you zoom in you have more a descrimnating view, leaving one with the idea that the POI is changing while infact one is having more precise control over choosing wher...

I bought the VLP and while it is a great stock, as much as i use it and as much as i HATE to damage it (normal feild wear-and-tear) I should have gone with the FV (essentially the same gun) and restocked it.
