Re: Bullet weight

I've got an older Hornady scale made by Pacific. I went to a friends house today to have him measure some of my bullets. His RCBS digital scale was within 0.1 of what mine measured. He then checked some of his bullets to see how close they were to listed weight. Some were right on some were off by 0...

Re: Bullet weight

Thanks guys. I am not going to do any loading until I know the scale is good. Looking for check weights now.

Bullet weight

Rookie reloader slowly getting ready to load my first 100 .204. I was cleaning and checking my used beam scale tonight. Got it to zero well and consistently re-zeros each time I replace the pan. I do not have a calibration weight yet so I tried measuring one of the bullets. My 32 grain Hornady v-max...

Re: Case trimmer

I am not planning to do large volume but I can keep looking. How about the Lee Quick trim that works in the press?

Case trimmer

Just starting into reloading and doing it on a shoestring budget. Has anyone used the Lyman E Zee trim case trimming system?
I have to go low budget here but won't if it is no good. Thanks.

Re: Ruger 204 predator series

I've had my Ruger American Predator in .204 Ruger for about a year now. Took me a long time to get it sighted in because of high winds in our area and 50 miles one way to the range. I've used the Hornady 32 gr mostly and are happy with them. (they are available) I plan to start reloading this fall. ...

Re: *** 2015 Ruger 204um Five Shot Challenge ***

You're supposed to SEE the target when doing this? Maybe that's my problem too. :)

Thanks for the contest. I look forward to next year and I will practice in between. Maybe I'll get my second box of ammo through it by then.

Just got my target in the mail today. Now to find good weather and time to get to the range. Thanks again for the opportunity.

Got an email about this. Sorry haven't been on here much. I actually just got mine sighted in last Sat. but what the heck. Sounds like fun.

Re: Ruger predator in 204

Ordered one as soon as they became available. Got it in early June and slowly pieced the rest of it together. Bought some 32 and 40 grain Hornady for it the other day and as soon as I can get some time I will take it out to sight it in. Really looking forward to working with this caliber.

Re: Tell us about yourself...

Made my first post a few minutes ago so I thought I should post here too. Found this site when I first heard of the 204 but now I'm getting a little more serious about it. Originally from MN, spent most of my life in MT and now I'm in CO. Married (40+) 3 kids each born in a different decade, and 4 g...

Ring height question

Finally got a .204 Ruger and I am putting together all the rest of the items I need. I was hoping that I could get one in the Ruger American when they first came out but no luck. I was really glad to hear that they were bringing out the Predator. Since I'm somewhat of a Ruger nut I ordered one as so...
