Don't settle for .7"! I have shot .25" with factory 40 grain V-max from my Howa. They can shoot.

I notice that they take a "siesta" from about noon to 4pm (plus or minus an hour) then the come out in force late afternoon until about 7-8pm. Hard winds they dont like, but a medium 10mph wind I see no difference, just harder to hit the far ones!

Bumper crop this year from what Ive seen. The little ones are out early too, had a triple on em last week. Wish gas wasn't so expensive or I'd go more often.

That's a sweet setup! Glad to hear your shoot went well. I have 800 20 VT and 500 17 Hornet. Sounds like I'll need all my 204 and 223 as back -up. Did you shoot any rimfire? Will be up that way April 1-14-ish. Great inspiration!

Are they as welcoming to shooters in Macdoel as the ranches around K-Falls? I got word that the rats are out in force in the Cedarville area now as well. Its nice to have a few different go-to places but we are always on the hunt for that perfect pivot field with thousands of rats in all directions!...
