Re: Loading for cz 527 in 204 ruger

Hey BE, welcome. This thread might be of some assistance with the N133

I have the same in a Varmint model and it has shot well with a variety of powders.
Really liked the 35gr Bergers too.

Re: Deep Throat Savage 12

I rebarreled my Savage 12 with a Pac-Nor Savage prefit 1:11 twist chambered with a .204R Match chamber. Definitely cut down my OAL and allows me to seat both the 32s and 40s with plenty of bullet left in the neck. Something to consider. I did shoot the factory barrel for a few thousand rounds and ha...

Re: Anyone still shooting a 222?

I love the Triple Deuce. Just something about it.

I have a Howa made S&W 1500 Varmint that has done some good work on PDs in the past.
Also have one of those engraved Remington 700s with a sporter barrel that is a little laser.

Seriously one of my most favorite rounds ever. :D

Here are some pics of the brass for those interested. The quality is excellent. (My pics are not unfortunately.) http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s249/SShooterZ/Reloading/B4091511-F0EE-4224-AB96-190FDA069C4A_zpshm0g6olv.jpg http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s249/SShooterZ/Reloading/B4BAD878-21D4-...

Re: Cooper Model 21 chamber

Tighter chamber in the Cooper resulting in higher pressure would be my guess. That's not a bad thing IMO.

Re: Members Meet.....Skippy Flies

I saw that. LOL So far it hasn't worked for me. Seems shooting those squirrels is a popular event in the NorthWest. Couple of guys at BP have been doing it too. Only adds to my jealousy factor.

Re: Modified cases

"Yes", they are the same tool, just a different company now selling it. They both employ 5/16"-36 TPI. (Don't try to find that tap at any hardware store. ;) ) That's good info. Thanks Rick. I see Amazon carries them. Would be nice to make one for my .20VT and .223AI. http://www.amazo...

I'm assuming an HS Precision would work also. Great stocks for the money IMO.

You guys are out hammering them and we're still buried in snow. With more predicted!

At least someone is getting good shooting in.

Re: Members Meet.....Skippy Flies

Nice report Rick, as always, and nice shooting. You surely know how to make a guy jealous.

Glad to see the recent "present" is working out for you. At 3100fps, you're not losing much on anything with plenty of splat factor.
