Why not get the best?
Midsouth had Norma brass for 58$ per hundred. I just got 500 for next year.

Hornady is in stock at some spots, but I have not seen Rem or Win anywhere this year.

Re: 204 Fun in the Rat Patch

As usual Rick you tell a great story. The pictures are also nice but the fact your faces all had smiles on them tells me something...you can't buy it at a store, it's priceless.

Re: Sage Rat Fun !!!!
many thoughts go into your great pictures, I have killed: Ground Squirrels, Columbia Ground Squirrels, Beldings Ground Squirrels, but I have never killed "Flying squirrels" in open fields like you have! They must be genetic mutations from an Atomic test back in the 40's? Good job and great...

Re: Getting close
Some 204's with a 1-12 twist don't shoot the 40's. The 26-39 grain bullets are your best bet for 99.99% of the 1-12's
Elevation
Twist
Speed
length of bullet
all affect stability.

Re: Cedarville Squirrel Roundup?
In Cedarville they were requiring you to get the dead squirrels and transport them to the counting station to verify the number of kills. I stopped doing that shoot a few years back. When I was young we camped at Burny falls Ca. and many times the campground was shutdown because of the Bubonic Plagu...

Re: Little Help With RCBS Competition Seating Die
Been there done that, get a 22cal bronze brush and chuck it in a drill. Run it in and out of the seater die with JB bore paste on it. Problem solved.

Re: The Squeaks are out!
Bill, The barrels are McGowen 1-11 Twist w/11degree Crown, no way can damage occur. They are also placed barrel down on old mouse pads. 1/4" thick cloth/neoprene. Most damage is done by improper cleaning than anything else. This lets the remaining liquid drain down to the muzzle instead of the ...
