Now using the ballistic calculator I set my turret for .6 for a 200yard hit (just over 2 clicks). With this setting I was hitting almost 2inch'...

Re: Ruger MkII VT .204 Bullet OAL and Jump
I,ave found that 2.300 was the max I could fit in the magaize of my ruger vt , plus at this length it did shoot the best, This was using 32grain vmaxs. Have you try-ed benchmark powder yet??

Yes thats what I mean .2 of a grain. I have found that I have to set my Lyman power measure a wee bit low and top up with the trickler as it measurements are just not that accurate. thanks

Re: Can,t believe it!! A few points of.................
Should probably leave things alone, But mite try try adding another .2 of a grain 27.4 or even 27.6 to see were groups start to open up again. Would like to be as fast and accurate as I can. Can,t wait to get her out in the field for some head shots!. Sure gives you a lot more confides in your rifle...

Can,t believe it!! A few points of.................
I cant believe a few points of a grain make such a massive difference to group sizes! . As my standard load was 32vmax in front of 27.8grains of benchmark for 4080 fps. (top middle target). I decided to drop a few points of a grain to 27.2. When I was shooting this group ( bottom middle target) I wa...

Brass. whats the best after Norma!
Hi there. I,M after some more brass! The hornady stuff I will never buy again . at least 50% of it split the case necks after about the 2-3 reload. I feel the Norma brass is A little expensive. What brand should I order, plus how many reloads are you getting on average from you brass. Thanks
