Re: recoil eliminator
This is a case of not what's "needed" , but of "wanted ", and as this is still a free country, do as you will. Yeah, like I said, I had read several places that nobody feels the need for a brake on a .204, especially with a heavy barrel. As many internet opinions don't come from...

Re: recoil eliminator
Glenn and Rick, I could uderstand getting annoyed by someone sitting down next to you with nasty muzzle blast. That's not too cool, although... I have a DTech AR-15 on the way, with a .920 heavy barrel, and a custom muzzle brake/compensator . I ordered the rifle with the compensator because it sound...

Re: Shooters pro shop?
I bought (9) bags of 100 about 2 months ago @ $10/bag. It was $10 to ship an unlimited quantity, so I ended up spending an even $100 on 900 bullets. I wish I had bought them all, because I've been checking often myself and haven't seen them again. They've got to perform better than the dogtowns at t...

Re: can target shooting start a fire?
"Exploding" targets that are about 2" square... Wondering what targets you speak of. Have a link? I went through (40) 1/2 pound plastic jars of Tannerite last summer, and have a hard time believing that could ever start a fire. Always looking for a cheaper alternative to Tannerite th...

Re: Huge load workup project for DTech AR
I think it would be well worth you while to determine which bullet you want to shoot and then concentrate on finding a load for that one. I really hope the 40gr Nosler factory 2nds shoot tight, because I'm " only " paying 11 cents a piece for them. From what I've read, they can perform pr...

Re: Huge load workup project for DTech AR
Questions on this project... Would you guys test the better performing loads all over again in once fired brass before choosing THE load for this rifle and loading up 1000? I plan on full length sizing every time for these (It's an AR) Am I wasting my time? I've noticed some concensus from the guys ...

Huge load workup project for DTech AR
Hi guys, Been lurking in here and on many other boards since ordering my 204 from DTech back in what feels sometimes like the 70's. He had a delay on 1:10 twist barrels from Shilen. I feel I've soaked up alot of information on the 204 cartridge over the past months, and am really looking forward to ...

Re: Hot Barrels In Eastern Oregon Part 3
Looks like a good time! I notice you guys all use those huge front bags. A friend of mine bought one recently, and after trying it, I want one. Question though... If shooting many rounds in succession, doesn't having the barrel nestled down in that bag make it heat up faster, and take longer to cool...

Re: Powder drop tube for Lee?
Yeah, a Lee rep told me it won't work because the powder bridges in the tube. The reason I don't believe it, is every other company seems to make drop tubes small enough. It's not even that I mind charging by hand so much, but that leaves me looking for the right measure, one that has a tube/nozzle ...

Powder drop tube for Lee?
Am I going to have any trouble using the Pro Auto Disk Measure on my Lee Classic Turret Press to charge .204 cases? Lee says the powder die is 22-45 cal only. So no support for 17/20cal? I already talked to Lee and they said it can't be done, but I don't believe it. One of you must be using Lee stuf...
