Re: Knight Rifle going out of business.
Not good. I always liked there rifles for accuracey and quality. They were competatively priced and had good customer service. It's a shame. I was looking at getting another one. Guess I am glad I waited.

Re: Ground Hog Carnage
About the picture thing. I guess it is me being superstitious. When I take a camera hunting or fishing I never have anythign to take a picture of. It always happens without. I will bring it next time. Hey that gives me another reason to get back out soon. Gotta please the other members of 04um..

Ground Hog Carnage
Well I went out today and was looking for some ground hogs to blow apart and was not having much luck. Found a few by the road but nothing where I could get a shot, remember I'm in NJ can't be seen by the road or "I have some splannin to do" and it wastes my morning. Any with no luck I wen...

Re: since you like carnage
I am starting to get more respect for this round the more I use it. The first few I ground hogs I shot with it left minimal carnage. I ahve found that was just where the bullet went and not due to poor performance. The last one I hit was at about 90 - 100 yards. I hit him square between the shoulder...

Re: Springtime Fun w/Skippy Pt II (Pics)
Rick, Sounds like fun. The only waving people here would be doing is with one finger  To give you an idea, two years ago we had got lined up to do a drive and walked a road to get set up. We had items thrown at us and one guy almost got hit by someone swerving at us. Now mind you we were all ar...

Re: Is there any way to tell the difference between...
The most simple way I can think of is weigh them all, sort them into two piles, you now know one is 32 and one is 40. Sacrifice one and pull the bullet. Weigh the bullet and you now know which pile is which.

Re: Wind and Shooting Elevation??
Glen, Dead still. Could have dropped powder and it would have feel straight down. Still does not account for the drift phenomenon due to the bullet spinning in flight. I held dead on the shoulder, was gonna get cocky and go for a head shot at that distance, and hit just low dead center. Most of the ...

Wind and Shooting Elevation??
This may be all in my head but I wanna get some opinions. I have read a lot on this site regarding wind drift at certain distances with various bullets. I have now killed 13 Ground Hogs since around April. I realize this is only a few in comparison to many but I have learned a lot so far. One thing ...
