Re: Why no H4198 Loads?
Like Ramos & Futuretrades, H4198 in 20VT, and RL-10X and Ramshot Xterminator in 204R. I doubt if I would use 4198 in my 204 due to the burn rate.
I actually like RL-7 a little better than H4198. However, RL-7 is hard to come by. I was able to find 16lb of H4198 so I'm stuck with it for a while.

Nice Hornet Rick. What action is that? Low-wall?
This is just killing me. Finally got to the reloading bench after procrastinating all winter, and a week of rain coming up.

Beater 6-18x42mmAO Redfield with "Issues"
For sale is a Redfield Five Star 6-18x42mm Adjustable Objective scope. It is pre-Leupold, made in Colorado. Duplex reticle, gloss finish. It's a bit of a beater - has some ring marks - but it's sound. The previous owner had new crosshairs installed, and they are somewhat off center. It works okay wi...

Re: Your favourite bore cleaner
What about for cleaning in the field? It seems most bore cleaning products I'm aware of are intended to stay in the bore for an extended period to do their work.
I use Sweet's, but I'm thinking of trying Sharpshoot-R Wipe-Out/Patch-Out with Accelerator.

Re: Powder's for 45acp
Bullseye is my choice for 45 ACP. Yes, it's dirty, but at the size of the charge a pound of it lasts forever.
My favorite pistol powder is Unique, however. Works in everything.
