Good report Rick.
Never heard of going to shoot Skippy with only one gun, lol. I suspect you had a pistol for the charging Skippy's.

Re: Got My new barrel back
You say barrel, but did you have pac-nor install the barrel, and did they true the action?
Looks good, I might be doing the same to an XR-100.

Re: How much time remaining for rats?
This is my 3rd year shooting Squeeks in Alturas, and my son and I have never gone this late, until this week. We experienced our last "late trip". At 85 degree's it is too hot for us AND the squeeks mid day, but we could shoot from 7am until about noon, when everything seemed to go away fo...

Re: What The ....???!! How To Remove "Glued-In" Primers?
Posting a picture will help. I recall someone having a similar issue a year or so ago, I am thinking trying a solvent, maybe acetone, might dissolve the sealant so you can remove ALL of the primer, if I understand it, you might as well toss the brass if the sides of the primers are still in the prim...

Good deal, hope he gets it.
Cliff is an old friend, grew up in my town, had a gun store here as well. I worked for his Dad's store after school my senior year.

Thanks Rick Not sure if I'll bring this one to play with next spring, another aquisition before I found the "17 caliber" experience and rejoined the discussions on that other website. Copied and will be filed in the 17 Hornet/ 22k hornet reloading folder to be looked at before reloading th...

Re: 32gr - V-Max vs Varmagrddon
We did the Nosler factory tour this june and I was amazed at how many boxes of bullets were in the loading area, many had delivery labels of Cabela's if memory serves. The rumors of factories slowing down production to create the empty shelves is, well, BS. While in Bend I did happen to run into a g...

What scope and reticle is that Don? Looks pretty nice. I put one of the 4-12 Redfields with Accurange on a 10-22 with a Tacticool stock, Kidd 20" target bbl and Kidd 1.5# trigger, on paper it looks like it might be good for me to 150-ish, but I need to verify it with some of those special 40 gr...

221 fireball brass for sale
I have 500 new Remington brass I bought to make 17 fireball out of, and ended up finding 17 brass, so this is excess. It came to me as bulk brass from Midway, hoping to sell 500 pcs for $265 shipped. If you don't need 500, shoot me a pm with how much you would like and we can determine a shipped pri...
