Re: bipods & boresighters & Barnes bullets
I have 3 bipods for sale. Two are new in the package, one is slightly used. Harris BR-swivel is 6 to 9 inch with friction lock legs(not notches). New $75 SPF Harris 25C extends to 25 inches. Not a swivel (used but as new condition) $55 Weaver Precision Tactical Bipod. This is awesome especially for ...

Re: 204 V 22 CALS.
Been there, done that. What you hope to achieve with your Superperformance is not new. I reached those levels (22cal) with my 220Swift and exceded them with 220AI years ago. I also had a 6mm-06 that easily reached 3975fps with 75gr bullets. I learned a lot with those rifles and it only cost me a cou...

Re: 204 V 22 CALS.
I have all three. I'm a prairie dog shooter-have been for most of my 60 years. I've fired at least 200,000 rounds at the little buggers(might be more like 250-300,000). I don't shoot the powder burners much any more. The only thing my 220Swift does better than the 204 is deliver energy. The 204Ruger...

Re: What is the best way to achive fastest speed with .204?
Thanks for the history lesson BCB. You are a valuable source of information for sure. I fall in the catagory of recent 20cal fans(5 years), but I forgot about reaching "top velocity" and fell in love with overall performance at 3900fps for the 39gr bullets. Beats a 220Swift and doesn't fou...

My first choice is Leupold, but you won't step up much in that budget unless you find a killer deal on a used one.
Check out Burris Fullfield II, that's a good product for the money.

If you are confused about this weight and length thing just ask BCB. I guarantee he knows and I think he would be happy to explain.

I clean mine when it's dirty. Never shoot it with oil in the barrel.

Re: compressed loads
I used 27.0gr 8208 for 39Sierra, 40vmax&Berger. Groups were great with all three. My rifle had not liked 40 vmax bullets before so I was happy to see several nice groups with them. I have not chronied these loads but they seemed to shoot to the same point as my previous ones. I will not push my ...

Re: compressed loads
I love 8208 in my bolt guns. When my other stuff is gone that's all I'm going to use for 17FB, 204R, 220Swift.
