Question about Bushing Sizing Dies

Post by dan97526 »

Friends,

Can a 20VT Redding Type S Bushing Neck Sizer die be used to resize 204 Ruger as well? Seems like it would if properly adjusted, given the relative length of the two cases.

Thanks,
Dan

Dan,

That will work just fine for neck sizing as long as you adjust the die up in the press the appropriate distance.

The neck area will get sized with no problem but somewhere down the road the case body may need to be full length resized or stiff bolt closing may be an issue.

Same here, I think the neck resizing won't affect but the other parts that will be taken will be another issue. Just careful in resizing to have balance on your thing. :)
