Swift Premier Rifle Scope

Post by WesF »

Looking for opinions on the Swift Premier 6-18 x 44 scope. I have looked through one and was satisfied with the clarity but haven’t shot a rifle with one riding on it. I’m considering this scope to sit on top of a Savage model 12 FV in 204 for some prairie dog extermination.

HTH

I can only attest to the 4-12x40AO Premiers. I have a couple of these & love them. I picked up a used 6-18 about 7-8 years ago & ended up selling it to a young up & coming hunter/shooter for his 1st rifle. Nary a problem I've ever heard back. I am in the market for 1 or maybe 2 more 4-12's.

Thanks Glen! The fact that you are looking for 1 or 2 more Swifts makes me feel better about my purchase.

This is where I usually get my Swift Premiers. However they only have a limited selection. BUT they have FREE shipping!!

I may be getting my next 4-12X40AO from SWFA for a few dollars more but it's the nickel finish. Unless I can find matte silver.

Heading off into cyber space in search of a scope!!

Glen, I'm a hunter education instructor & Swift offers instructors some fairly deep discounts, so I'm getting the scope right from the factory. The only down side is that instructors can only order one scope per year. Still an awesome deal though.
