This morning, I shot the best 1000 yard group yet. 11" center to center for 6 shots. Including one in the X.

Savage single shot 112 Target rifle (older, not the new style)
300 Win Mag
180 gr Noslder BT solid base boat tail (coated with WS2)
71.5 gr H4831
Federal brass (partial full length sized)
CCI 250 primers
Leupold FX12x40 with fine crosshairs

Temp was a nice 45 ish. Wind was a measured 15-23 mph from the north x north west. We were shooting due south.

I am definitely not bragging. It IS mostly the rifle. 1000 yards is harder than I thought it would be.

Now, if I can only win the lottery tonight! :)

Good shooting. What kind of wind were you shooting in?
