Jim,
These are 6-9inch legs on the bipods, but the legs are not notched-they are adjustable to any in between length with a thumb set screw and a notch at full 9 inch extension. To me the notches always fall in the wrong place, but these can be adjusted perfectly.
I'm selling a couple of these so I can try one of the new Weaver(RCBS) tactical bipods. I don't know if the Weaver has any advantage over the Harris, but it is light weight and looks cool on my VTR. Costs twice as much as a Harris, so I won't be getting them for all my rifles.

I have 3 bipods for sale. Two are new in the package, one is slightly used.
Harris BR-swivel is 6 to 9 inch with friction lock legs(not notches). New $75 SPF
Harris 25C extends to 25 inches. Not a swivel (used but as new condition) $55
Weaver Precision Tactical Bipod. This is awesome especially for an AR. Light weight,
looks good, works good, thumb screws for all the adjustments. Mounts on a rail,
but I have the adapter to put it on a stud. New in box $140

The Leupold Zero Point is still for sale. New unopened package $50

300 Berger 6mm bullets. 108gr Target BT Match Grade $85 SPF
