It was a good week for deer hunting here in Ohio. Wed/Thursday were a bit warm in the 50's but the rest of the week was good. Even had a little snow for a change. Which is what made this fella stand out amongst the snow covered brush that he was hidden so well in.

I got this one about a 1/2 mile from my stand. He was bedded down when I seen him. Neck shot with the Winchester 50cal & a 240r CheapShot HP Sunday afternoon. Hit just below the spine. He jumped up & ran down the hill. I had to pound him again.

Nice Rack...ah...I meant nice buck.

2 Friends wanted some deer meat. I wanted to deer hunt with the ML again. So I bought a tag & went out this AM. Got up bright & early at 3:30AM & was in the woods by 9:30AM!!!!! Doe down at 11:15AM!! That's how we roll!

Well Glen......THAT was indeed worth getting out of the fart sack at 3:30 a.m.!!!

Yes it was Rick!! I just hadn't been sleeping well those past few nights is all. I only live 15 minutes from where I deer hunt. But I'm glad I went out.
