This is what Ijust received from Nosler.

POP: To answer some of the questions, firstly it's not an all copper bullet like some of the competition's lead free bullets so it doesn't share the characteristics, like snapping the petals at a high velocity. That also means it doesn't foul like an all copper bullet, the accuracy is amazing. I saw the results just two days ago, I'll post when I can.

I'm just waiting for a call back on the price so I can give you a ballpark figure.

Impressive. Another seemingly excellent high weight retention game bullet. Good for us, but I bet Randy and Connie Brooks are NOT very pleased with this latest development in the industry!

I've used the Barnes TSX and the Nosler Partition with excellent results; will be interesting to try the new "E" Bullet now......

Honestly tho. With the price of reloading metals going up quickly over the past few months I'm just wondering if they will be priced to compare with the lead bullets. I'm all for new things but sometimes they are introduced at the wrong time for them to be accepted. Or am I just fussing over nothing??

Glen, If the bullets are a buck a piece and you buy a box of fifty, you,ll have enough to check your zero and kill a critter each year for many years. You would pay $5 a year for bullets anyway so what's the big deal if you spend $10 for better performance. That's a very small part of the investment for an Elk hunt.

They will be slightly more than a Partition....

Precisely the argument that LOST RIVER BALLISTICS uses for their Hunting Bullets, and not without some merit. If you spend $3000 to go on a hunting trip to Alaska or Wyoming or some such, how much should you budget for those 5 bullets you will expend during that time?

Varmint hunting is a different question where $22 vs $15 per hundred can buy a few meals on the trip. Interesting to say the least.

I agree for now since they only have the 30cal bullets. I was thinking about the pdog shooters.

Excellent!!!!! I use the 180gr AccuBond in my 30-06 with excellent results and would be very keen to try out the new 180gr E-Tip.

They will be slightly more expensive than the Partition. No where near the MRX.

I will post when I get some in for testing.
