Finally got my first kill on a gopher of this year.

Its still a bit early for this area but been getting anxious seeing others reports. Currently am doing some work for a rancher so I am looking forward to access to new lands as well as first hand knowledge about the best places.

The shorty 10/22 is handy to have in a work truck but to be honest I am really looking forward to a dedicated day in the field with a centerfire.

That 10/22 is cool. But is that barrel of legal length?

Wondered the same, If so, or even if not. What and where did you get that one. Bill K

Here in Canada the barrel length on a rimfire is not restricted, as long as the overall length exceeds 26" its good to go.

Thats the simple answer, there are several caveats that one needs to adhere to but as long as you know the rules and build within them we here in Canada can have some neat short barrelled firearms

Here is my Henry Mares Leg with a full length stock. With the flip up tang sight I get a nice 20" sight radius.

Also have an 870 with a 12.5" barrel, handy little truck or quad gun.

You are very fortunate in that respect, makes for some nice looking and nice handling weapons. Bill K :)
