Was out again today on a beautiful sunny day, again with very light winds.
Set up in different area at request of owner, closer to house.
Grass is getting taller by the day, as the gophers now run they do a little jump so they can see over
the tall grass. It just helps me keep track of them so that when they stop I can send them on
their flying lesson! Had one kill at 248 yards, was standing up, love it when they do that, makes for great target!
Will be out again on Sunday.
Another picture of the landscape and how green it can get this time of year!
Second picture was from 86 yards and the ol’ .204 was screaming at this guy and literally tore him in half!

Re: Gopher Shootin’ 3
You just gotta love a good Montana rat patch! Nice. Looks like it's a very nice area. After seeing most of MT ourselves, I've told my wife for years if we ever move, plan on a bit longer winter for where we're headed.
Would be cool to see some equipment pics, rifle, setup, etc. Feel free to post away.
