range finder help please

going to dope my new scope on the 204 tomorrow but just wondering a few things and wondered if some could explaine a few things for me, using ballistic software it gives a figure of say 4.7 moa how do most people dial in the .7 or should you use drop in inches does some one have a formula they use my turrets are 1/8 clicks ,scope in nightforce and was worth the weight cheers bazz

find the nearest match. if you have 1/4 then find the nearest .25 . as you said you have 1/8 again find the nearest match but remember that the software if only a guide. find where your rifle shoots then see what you need.

Has anyone just some of the ballistic calculators on the androids. Strelok Ballistic calculator i was playing with and its looks like it might work. You can even get your Reticle of your scope loaded.

iSnipe gets you really close if you know what speed your projectiles are flying. JBM is incredibly awesome with MIL other environmental conditions.

strelok, iSnipe and JBM are the ones I hear about the most
