Jard trigger for Cooper 204

I have read on the forum where some members have installed a Jard trigger on their Cooper rifle. I was thinking of a 8 or 10 oz trigger, but was curious if anyone has had issues with the Jard trigger unit. How have they worked for you over time.

Thanks

Well, seeing as Jewell no longer produces adjustable trigger assemblies for Cooper rifles, Jard is the only game in town. I have their 10oz triggers in four of my Cooper varmint rifles and could not be happier. The oldest one is now about six years old, still working perfectly....breaks like the proverbial glass rod with no creep or overtravel.

Easy to install, and when done, you've got a trigger to love that should have been installed at the factory. :D

Than you Rick.....I totally agree with you on a better factory trigger.

I found a 8oz jard in a drawer that I purchased in 2013 I've replaced several Remington but am a little apprehensive about doing a cooper. Anything to look out for

It's pretty forthright.....all four of my Jard's went right into my Coopers without any fuss.

Should not really be an issue. Proceed with confidence!
