Today I had to FAFO. So I made myself a little target and shot a 50 second youtube video you can look at by clicking here https://youtube.com/shorts/lBPIALDjtYk? ... m-EHLMuVEc

From what I have seen, I believe four gallon jugs would be about all the bullet would pass through or into. :)

I am thinking about doing a side by side test with my 35 gr Berger and the 32 gr Vmax. I actually choose to use the Bergers because they have a better reputation on coyotes. A happy side effect has been very good accuracy in both my guns.

At any rate Its fun to try different things-

I know where my money would be riding on this comparison if water filled one gallon jugs are the targets.

Hornady 32 gr Vmax - velocity 4225 Feet Per Second, polymer tip
Berger 35 gr FB - velocity ??? depends on reloading specifics, fully jacked hollow point

I am guessing the Berger will hold together better...

Less explosive is my thought. In the past some members have reported that the 35 Bergers are a more "fur friendly" way to take coyotes.

I had read that as well. I will find out this fall.

By pure luck, a guy I played baseball with was the step son of Walt Berger. His mom holds several female bench rest records. I posted some pictures on FB and he saw the box and we got to talking, the rest is history LOL
