factory 39bk ammo?

Post by brokeasajoke »

Helo to all. Been away for awhile. Long busy summe. I've run into a reloading snag so I won't be able to press some lead for a while. Does anyone besides federal offer 39bk loads? Has anyone used them with success? thanx

My best group with Federals was .208". Consistancy isn't quite as good as handloading, but I'd say it's the best factory ammo I've shot. I keep a couple boxes with me for just-in-case reasons.

HSM! I think it stands for Hunter Shack something. They have them at Cabelas, and at Sportsman's Warehouse, in 39 gr Sierra Blitz King. Also there is a local (to me, Southern Idaho), gun shop that stocks them, and sells them for less than the other 2 store mentioned. 50 round box = $ 29.00.
1/2" groups at 100 yards out of my Browning A-bolt.
Love that bullet.

Good luck
