Aftermarket bolt for AR??

Post by Mike »

In a couple of weeks, I need to send an AR bolt to Krieger so that my new barrel can be properly head spaced (I think I said that right  ). I've got the factory bolt that came with my RRA AR, but I'm wondering if there are any advantages to ordering an aftermarket bolt to pair with my new barrel?

Mike from my experience your Rock River bolt will serve you well. Use the money for some fun toy to hang on your new rifle. Gary

Thanks for the input, Gary. If there is no gain in accuracy from an aftermarket bolt, the stock RRA bolt will get shipped to Krieger this week.

I have a Les Baer National Match bolt and I have also had a stock bolt and I honestly could not see the difference between the two besides the fit and finis is better on the Les Baer Bolt. So if that helps you any that's all I got. Ride Up!!!
