Not here but else where, asking questions that are pretty much elementary to my way of thinking.
I don’t think anyone reads published books or literature anymore. If it is not on some form of social media they either don’t believe or don’t see it.

Speed and pressure goes, hand in hand, no way around it. That was explained to me a long time ago from a shooting mentor that just happens to be, now a retired physicist professor at KU. Smartest fellow I know with a large amount of common sense which is rare in most cases. One may have a fast barrel or slow barrel, but not what I hear and read about of so far over the top speed with NO pressure signs, pressures HAVE to be through the roof.

Years back when I was a young pup, I would get bored in the winter, read a LOT. Then take some odd brass and start sizing it. It was much like some of the stuff years earlier take a piece of plastic and stick it the oven that came with the kit, out pops a lizard or a snake, it was magic, lol.
I have seen folks ruin a pile of brass because they don’t read or don’t listen. What is the saying, doing something over and over with the same results is insane.

I reached out and tried to help as I saw in pictures and videos the mistakes I made, but corrected a long time back. Zero response, yet a few were upset that they could not get it to work.

I give up. I will almost put folks on the ignore list anymore for asking Elementary questions.
They wonder why we are cranky. I explained it once and told ya once I am done.

Now I have that out of my system every one to throw some projectiles down range and shoot small groups.

Agree. There's no accounting for other people's children. The reading and math comprehension of our nation is at an all time low. Big surprise with the radical teachers unions calling the shots and indoctrinating the kids instead of actually teaching them. Gender identity is now more important to them than actual learning, so we get these low-information types asking basic questions that every reloading manual covers.....but one must actually read them.



So don't despair there, jsh, we're here for ya!

It's the dumbing down of America and I must say, it's not getting any better, particularly these days when school boards put more emphasis on what's between ones legs instead of what is between their ears. I see this because I've had kids & grandkids in the school system from the late 1980' to the present.

I understand what y'all saying. On a variety of places I offer my experiences to new beginners and on occasion I'll go into more detail than perhaps someone else did to help them out only to get a reply back with attitude. I'm sure many of you have seen the type; wanted to join the armed forces to be a Marine Recon Scout, a Ranger, a Green Beret, a SEAL, a Pararescue Specialist or a USCG Rescue Swimmer or many other tough jobs yet washes out of boot-camp on day three and is angry at the world.

We'll, from time to time, I've offered up my experiences in this venue because I've spent a fair amount of time, money and aggravation and yes, sometimes talking to Jesus. I do it to try and help out because many have helped me along the way but in the end it's worth every penny you pay for it.
