HSM 204 brass

Post by Hotshot »

Has anybody done much reloading with the HSM headstamp brass? I buy a lot of components from them because I live close by but I've been reluctant to try their brass. They gave me a handfull to try and they don't look too bad. Just wonder if they are harder, softer, thicker, thinner. Appreciate hearing about any experiences.

I don't care for it much after about 4-5 loads the primer pockets have really opened up and I’m not shooting hot load at all. I bought 200 last summer at a gun show and only got about 5-6 loads from them. As a comparison my Hornady brass is past 10 load with the same powder/bullet combo and are still going strong I expect to get close to 20 loads from it.
